French forward Anthony Martial is looking for a new destination to relaunch his career after terminating his contract with Monterrey. Despite being without a club, the striker is prioritizing sporting ambitions over astronomical financial offers.
Al-Ittihad Tripoli of Libya submitted a formal offer to sign the former Manchester United player: a two-season contract with a net salary of 10 million euros plus a 5 million euro signing bonus. However, Martial flatly rejected the offer, as he did not consider it aligned with his competitive goals.
After ruling out options in Ligue 1 due to a lack of guarantees over playing time, the French attacker is aiming to return to European football. He is currently in very advanced talks with Málaga and could finalize his move in the coming days.
