🎥 On fire! Raphinha stars in Barça thrashing at Camp Nou

After an underwhelming performance with the Brazilian National Team at the World Cup, Raphinha is off to a great start to the season.

They remain perfect in La Liga, with the No. 11 now alone at the top of the scoring charts.

Yamal, also with two goals, and Gordon were the other standout performers. 

New Catalan signing Gabriel Jesus watched it all in loco.

It was anything but easy. And it already “started” with the Madrid side stunning Barça after just 12 minutes through Sergio Camello.

Raphinha struck for the first time in the 19th minute after a contribution from Xavi Espart, a La Masia product. 

Lamine Yamal “defied” logic by firing into Cárdenas’ top-left corner shortly after (21′). 

Then came the second half and another Catalan goal after Lejeune frustrated Gordon’s attempt by scoring an own goal (51′). 

But Camello brought the visitors “back” into the game in the 59th minute.

Rayo kept pushing against a Barça side that had “relaxed.”

Then Raphinha popped up once again in the 71st minute, taking advantage of a pass from Gordon. 

He moved clear at the top of the La Liga scoring charts with five goals.

That makes 80 in a Barça shirt. 

There was still time for a slick passing move to end with Yamal scoring once again.

It was the 51st goal for the 19-year-old for Barça. 

Barcelona moved up to nine points from three rounds. 

And they lead because of a better goal difference than Real’s (10 to 8).

They will be back in action on Sunday (6), when they visit Valencia at Mestalla.

Rayo, meanwhile, remain on just one point. And in 16th place. 

They will try to bounce back a day earlier, when they host Racing Santander.
