📸 Penalty saved, then message: La Liga keeper shows Mbappé who’s boss
After three opening wins, Real Madrid suffered their first La Liga defeat under star coach José Mourinho on Friday night. Los Blancos lost 0-1 against Real Betis.
Kylian Mbappé in particular became the tragic figure. The exceptional French star stepped up to take a penalty in the 94th minute, with the equalizer at his feet.
But with a weakly taken spot kick, he was denied by Betis goalkeeper Álvaro Valles. Valles then made sure Mbappé knew exactly what had happened and shouted a fierce message right in the 27-year-old’s face.
