Barcelona will play the 2026-27 season with the youngest squad in La Liga<\/a>, but this is far from a rebuilding group waiting several years to compete.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Hansi Flick has been handed a team built to challenge for the biggest trophies immediately, and for many of them, their best years may lie ahead.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n According to Mundo Deportivo<\/a><\/em>, Bar\u00e7a\u2019s squad has an average age of just 24.4 following the closure of the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Real Madrid sit at 25.7, while Atletico Madrid have an average of 26.7.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The exuberance of youth in the Bar\u00e7a<\/a> squad is directly connected to Hansi Flick\u2019s style.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Barcelona want to press high with sustained intensity, and the club have assembled a group of young, high-intensity players who can help execute that.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi are just 25 and 24 years old respectively. Anthony Gordon is 25 and Karim Adeyemi 24, while Hamza Abdelkarim and Jesse Bisiwu are only 18 and 19, respectively.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Even Bar\u00e7a\u2019s more experienced additions largely fit the plan.
