Jonathan David<\/a> is enjoying one of the best runs of his career, and it is happening six weeks after Juventus<\/a> decided they had seen enough.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n As noted by La Gazzetta dello Sport<\/a>, the Canadian has now scored in four consecutive matches after finding the net for Canada<\/a> against Chile, adding to goals for Atletico Madrid against Real Sociedad, Osasuna and Real Madrid.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n It is a rare feat for him. The coach wanted an out-and-out number nine, and David\u2019s profile suited a second striker role instead. With the mood around him turning hostile, he left at the end of the window<\/a>, against his own wish to stay and put right a poor first season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Juventus point to what they gained: they shed one of the squad\u2019s biggest salaries, level with Kenan Yildiz\u2019s post-renewal deal, and kept Nico Gonzalez, who has since impressed upon his return.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
