Atl\u00e9tico\u00a0Madrid star Koke<\/a> has taken to social media on Wednesday, to send an emotional goodbye message the way of Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Gim\u00e9nez. This of course comes fresh off the defender securing a move away from Spain\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Following months of rampant speculation, Uruguayan international Gim\u00e9nez secured a new home for himself on transfer deadline day on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The 31-year-old put pen to paper on terms with Deportivo La Coru\u00f1a, the cherry on top of an impressive market all told at the Estadio Riazor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n This brought to a close a spell of 13 successive years for Gim\u00e9nez as an Atl\u00e9tico\u00a0player, leaving behind him a lasting legacy featuring a pair of La Liga<\/a> titles, the Europa League, Spanish Super Cup and more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Amongst those first to acknowledge his now-former teammate\u2019s efforts whilst a Rojiblanco, in turn, was the aforementioned Koke<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Taking to his official social media accounts on Wednesday, Atl\u00e9ti icon and captain Koke<\/a> unveiled the following heartfelt post for Gim\u00e9nez:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u2018Brother, after so many years sharing the locker room, it\u2019s hard to find the words to say goodbye to you.
