Barcelona have made a perfect start to the new season, winning all three of their opening matches while scoring freely despite lacking a recognised striker.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Much of that attacking output has been driven by Raphinha, but Lamine Yamal<\/a>, too, has showcased his quality when it comes to creating chances for his team.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Yamal was also one of the star performers in the recent win over Rayo Vallecano, as he scored a brilliant brace.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Yamal\u2019s real impact this season, though, has been on the creative side of things.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n According to Squawka, Lamine has created more chances than any other player in the Spanish top flight across the first three gameweeks of the season, registering 13 in total.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n It is a remarkable figure for the teenager, and one that puts him clear of every other player in the competition. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Whether cutting inside from the right, delivering crosses or threading passes into dangerous areas, Lamine has been Barcelona\u2019s most consistent creative outlet so far.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The stat is all the more impressive given that Lamine was still being eased back into action at the start of the season, having returned late to pre-season training following a demanding World Cup.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Lamine\u2019s early-season dominance also puts to bed the narrative that had surrounded him in the opening weeks of the campaign.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Yamal continues to shine for Barcleona this season. Leading the entire league in chance creation while bagging a brace in the last win.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n For Hansi Flick, having Lamine firing on all cylinders is the best possible news heading into a season in which Barcelona<\/a> are chasing a third consecutive LaLiga<\/a> title and harbouring genuine Champions League ambitions. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
