Barcelona have begun the 2026\/27 campaign spectacularly, and Raphinha<\/a> is at the centre of their remarkable goalscoring start.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hansi Flick\u2019s side have won all three of their La Liga<\/a> matches so far, scoring 12 goals in the process.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Notably, Raphinha<\/a> has contributed five of them, putting the Brazilian at the top of Barcelona\u2019s scoring charts after the opening three matchdays.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Barcelona<\/a> captain has scored in every league match so far, having struck twice against Elche, found the net once against Athletic Club and added another brace against Rayo Vallecano<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Five goals in three games is an outstanding start in its own right, and Barcelona\u2019s history suggests it could become something even more significant.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As reported by Mundo Deportivo<\/a>, Raphinha<\/a> is now approaching a record that has been achieved by only a handful of players in the club\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Barcelona have had 13 players who have scored in each of the first three matchdays of a season, but the list becomes considerably shorter when the streak extends beyond that point.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Only three players have managed to score across the opening four matchdays.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ladislao Kubala achieved the feat in 1953\/54, scoring eight goals, while Cayetano Re followed in 1964\/65, scoring five.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cesc Fabregas was the most recent Barcelona<\/a> player to reach four consecutive matchdays, doing so at the beginning of the 2011\/12 campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The five-match list is even more exclusive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cesar Rodriguez scored eight goals across five consecutive matchdays in 1950\/51.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Furthermore, Zlatan Ibrahimovic matched the feat in 2009\/10, scoring five goals against Sporting, Getafe, Atletico Madrid, Racing Santander and Malaga.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

An impressive return of 12 goals in three La Liga<\/a> games is an average of four goals per match. More importantly, the goals have been spread across several players, making Barcelona<\/a> difficult to contain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The next matchday therefore carries an additional storyline for Raphinha<\/a>, as one more goal would take him into the small group of players who have scored across the first four league matches.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
