On-loan Barcelona star Marc Casad\u00f3<\/a>\u00a0was over the last 24 hours forced under the knife, to repair a serious shoulder injury. The midfielder is therefore facing up to an incoming spell on the treatment table.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Spanish international Casad\u00f3\u00a0was of course a late-window departure from Barcelona earlier this month.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Considered surplus to requirements by Blaugrana head coach Hansi Flick, the 23-year-old was granted a season-long loan exit, to newly-promoted Deportivo La Coru\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Casad\u00f3\u00a0was in from the off for his new employers on Sunday, as Depor played host to high-flying Real Betis<\/a> in a La Liga<\/a> clash.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n En route to a comeback share of the spoils for Antonio Hidalgo\u2019s troops, however, the Barca youth product was forced off after picking up a shoulder problem.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n And as alluded to above, 24 hours on, Deportivo have provided an update on the situation. As per a statement across the club\u2019s website and social media platforms:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u2018Marc Casad\u00f3 was surgically operated on at the HM Model Hospital in A Coru\u00f1a by traumatologist Rafael Arriaza with a fracture in his right clavicle.
