Barcelona<\/a> have made a spectacular start to the La Liga<\/a> campaign, winning all seven games to open a healthy lead at the top.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n They are the only team to maintain a perfect record in the Spanish top-flight, scoring an impressive 31 goals and conceding just seven.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n It\u2019s still early in the season, but already the question on everyone\u2019 s mind is whether anyone can stop Barcelona from retaining the La Liga title.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n They are formidable in attack, with Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon in their ranks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Their defence is not flawless, but conceding seven goals in seven matches is highly impressive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Madrid have been trophyless in the last two seasons, which is a huge decline for a club of their stature.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Club president Florentino Perez has put Jose Mourinho in charge, and the Portuguese has led the team to a promising start.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Their only defeat so far came at Real Betis earlier this month when Troy Parrott scored a late winner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Since then, Mourinho\u2019s men have defeated Inter Milan in the Champions League and claimed successive league wins over Rayo Vallecano and Elche.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n However, the manner of their victories have not entirely been convincing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Madrid failed to control the game against Inter and were lucky to come away with all three points from Elche in midweek.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Los Blancos were leading 2-0 against Elche at half-time, but then allowed the opposition back in the game by conceding two late goals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Only Carlos Espi\u2019s stoppage-time goal ensured points were not dropped at the Estadio Martinez Valero.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Real\u2019s title credentials will be tested on Sunday when they take on Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano Stadium.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
