Harry Kane<\/a> feels extremely comfortable at FC Bayern<\/a>. Nevertheless, the 33-year-old is keeping his long-term future open. In an interview with the Spanish newspaper Marca<\/em><\/a>, the striker has now revealed that there have indeed been discussions in the past about a possible move to Spain\u2019s La Liga<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Kane was specifically asked whether playing in Spain had ever been an option for him at some point during his career. The Bayern star confirmed that he had considered the possibility.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThere were moments when that could have happened. I wouldn\u2019t say there were concrete opportunities, but there have been some discussions in the past. I have great respect for La Liga. Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atl\u00e9tico are among the biggest clubs in the world. I grew up with Ronaldo and Messi as role models. I have enormous respect for these teams. As we know, anything can happen in soccer. I never rule anything out, but right now, as I\u2019ve already said, I\u2019m extremely happy in Germany.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Englishman did not reveal which clubs specifically spoke with Kane or his representatives at the time. His comments do, however, show that a move to Spain was at least a possibility in the past.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n It\u2019s particularly striking how highly Kane speaks of the three top Spanish clubs: Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Atl\u00e9tico Madrid. At the same time, the striker reminds us that Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi were among his greatest role models.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n However, no concrete intention to transfer can be inferred from this. Quite the contrary: Kane emphasizes once again that he is currently \u201cextremely happy\u201d in Germany.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The striker\u2019s contract with FC Bayern runs through the summer of 2027. The Munich club is already working to secure its star striker\u2019s long-term commitment to the club.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Most recently, club president Uli Hoene\u00df emphasized that talks regarding Kane\u2019s future are progressing positively. CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen is reportedly handling the negotiations with the English national team player. A new three-year contract through 2029 is on the table<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Kane\u2019s statement, \u201cI never rule anything out,\u201d is likely to draw attention nonetheless. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, in particular, have repeatedly been linked to high-profile center forwards in the past.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n However, there is currently no concrete indication that Kane is heading to any of the three Spanish clubs he mentioned. His comments to *Marca* also explicitly refer to past discussions and not to current negotiations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n For FC Bayern, another question is the main focus for now: Will they be able to keep Kane in Munich beyond 2027?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The forward has recently made it clear on several occasions that he feels at home with the record champions. At the same time, however, he is now also making it clear that he does not want to categorically rule out any possibilities for his future career.
