The winger is viewed as one of the very favourites to ultimately lift the trophy in Paris next month, fresh off a <a href=\"https:\/\/onefootball.com\/en\/competition\/laliga-10\/fixtures\">La Liga<\/a> and World Cup double.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Speaking during an interview with Movistar early this week, Lamine therefore made use of the opportunity to push his own candidacy, assuring:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cKylian Mbapp\u00e9 and I, we are the two best players in the world\u2026but I think I\u2019m the one who deserves to win the Ballon d\u2019Or.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>During an ensuing press conference ahead of Real Madrid\u2019s La Liga meeting with Elche on Tuesday, the aforementioned Jos\u00e9 Mourinho was in turn questioned on Lamine\u2019s claims.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Portuguese remained professional in his response, though, insisting:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cI respect all the opinions, but I\u2019m not going to say anything.
