Carlos Espi was perhaps the least popular signing Real Madrid<\/a> made in the summer. But four games in, the young striker has seemingly emerged as one of the more interesting transfers for the club.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Joining from Levante for \u20ac25 million, the Spaniard has shown signs of brilliance during his limited game-time, both in pre-season and in LaLiga<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n According to AS<\/a>, Espi continues to do everything in his power to earn more game-time under Jose Mourinho, and the Portuguese has been left thoroughly impressed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Espi has been a smart signing for Real Madrid. (Photo by Alex Caparros\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Despite being used sparingly so far, the forward has consistently made his mark whenever called upon. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n His two shots on target this season resulted in a dramatic winning goal on his debut against Espanyol and a fine effort that forced a top save against Betis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Mourinho, for his part, has no complaints about the youngster. \u201cI couldn\u2019t be happier with him,\u201d<\/strong> the Portuguese said, which serves as a clear signal that Espi\u2019s persistence and impact are being noticed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n With a full pre-season behind him and his sharpness at a high level, Espi appears ready to seize any opportunity, and he is making a strong case for a bigger role as the fixtures pile up.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n What\u2019s in store for Endrick?
