The visitors headed into proceedings brimming with confidence, fresh off three wins from three to open the new La Liga<\/a> campaign.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n When all was said and done in Seville, though, Real Madrid were brought crashing back down to earth with a thud.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Owing to a solitary strike on the part of summer signing Troy Parrott, it was hosts Betis who emerged on the right side of a 1-0 result on Friday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Los Merengues were the architects of their own downfall, missing a whole host of glaring opportunities in front of goal, capped by Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 fluffing his lines from the penalty spot in injury time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n As alluded to above, though, post-match, Jos\u00e9 Mourinho was quick to throw his full backing behind his star-studded squad.
