On the eve of the Brazil<\/a> National Team squad announcement for the friendlies during the next FIFA international window, the CBF National Teams Department has intensified its scouting of matches in Europe\u2019s top leagues as well as Brazilian competitions. Last weekend, head coach Carlo Ancelotti watched three matches in Europe: Lille vs. PSG in Ligue 1<\/a> (France), and Tottenham vs. Newcastle and Chelsea vs. Brighton in the Premier League<\/a> (England).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This weekend, the scouting work continues with assistants present at several matches. On Friday (4), performance analyst Simone Montanaro was at the Parc des Princes in Paris for PSG vs. Monaco. Assistant coach and fitness coach Mino Fulco traveled to Seville for Real Betis vs. Real Madrid in LaLiga<\/a> (Spain). In Serie A<\/a> (Italy), assistant coach Francesco Mauri closely followed Genoa vs. Como.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Saturday (5), it will be Paul Clement\u2019s turn to watch Nottingham Forest vs. Tottenham in the Premier League. On Sunday (6), he will be in London for the derby between Arsenal and Chelsea.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In Brazil, the National Teams Department is also present at domestic club matches. Last Tuesday (1st), National Teams general coordinator Rodrigo Caetano and physical preparation coordinator Cristiano Nunes were in Belo Horizonte for the Minas Gerais derby Atl\u00e9tico-MG vs. Cruzeiro in the Copa do Brasil. At the Gre-Nal this Thursday (3), National Teams general manager C\u00edcero Souza and Brazil U-20 National Team head coach Paulo Victor followed the match.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For the 26th round of the Brasileir\u00e3o<\/a> this weekend, Cristiano Nunes and performance analyst Bruno Baquete will watch Fluminense vs. Vasco on Saturday (5) at the Maracan\u00e3, while performance analyst Thomaz Ara\u00fajo and Paulo Victor will be at Morumbis for S\u00e3o Paulo vs. Atl\u00e9tico-MG.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Next Wednesday (9), the coach will announce the squad list for the friendlies against Australia and India at CBF headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
