Guido Rodr\u00edguez will be sidelined after Valencia<\/a> confirmed a right quadriceps injury, with no specific recovery timetable.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The club said in a statement on Saturday that medical tests detected the issue in his right leg, and he will undergo treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning before returning to full training.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Argentine midfielder had been managing discomfort after the opening rounds of LaLiga<\/a> and underwent tests to determine the extent of the problem.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He has already missed group training and will sit out at least Valencia\u2019s next fixture.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Rodr\u00edguez started the first two matches and was a key option for Carlos Corber\u00e1n, leaving a gap in midfield as the team continue to seek their first win of the season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Earlier this week Corber\u00e1n welcomed back Luis Rioja after almost a month out with a similar issue in his right quadriceps, and the coach has trialled different solutions in training to cover Rodr\u00edguez\u2019s absence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
